The following is a very short list of primary sources, mainly published documents. Besides the titles included in the following list, three unique periodicals should be mentioned as important, conveniently accessible sources of information for an indepth study on the subject. They are Uncaptive minds (New York, 1988-1997), a quarterly that published the opinions and political discourses of opposition leaders of Central and Eastern Europe; Report on Eastern Europe (Munich, Germnay, 1990-1991), a weekly published by Radio Free Europe that comprehensively covered the countries during those two turbulent years of 1990-1991; and Cold War International History Project Bulletin (Washington, DC, 1992- ), an irregular journal published by the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and now available online in its entirety (http://www.wilsoncenter.org/index.cfm?topic_id=1409&fuseaction=topics.publications&group_id=11900).
