The Wells Library Makerspace is a creative space to share ideas and equipment. Located in room 106 of the Learning Commons (1st Floor, West Tower), the Makerspace is home to a variety of tools, including a desktop vinyl cutter, 3D printer, sewing machine, and more. All are welcome and no previous experience is needed.
How can I use this space?
Drop in and learn something new or destress with a simple hands-on activity. Make some noise with our musical instruments, create a sewable circuit, or design a vinyl laptop sticker. Not sure where to start? Chat with us about potential projects at libmaker @ indiana.edu.
OPEN HOURS
SUMMER 2022

EQUIPMENT
We have a wide range of tools and supplies. All of our equipment is available for use in the library and several items are available for checkout.
WORKSHOPS
Our workshops offer a chance to explore tools and technologies, learn new skills, or unwind and destress. Registration is free and all skill levels are welcome.
Our Philosophy
We believe in process over product. The skills you develop, the feelings you experience, and the relationships you build in the Makerspace are all valuable, regardless of the finished product.
