Dr. Hui-shu Lee's visit to the East Asian Collection

Dr. Hui-shu Lee from UCLA browsed a book, Xihu zhi 西湖志 (History of the West Lake), published in 1878 in the East Asian Collection.  It was on the occasion of her recent visit to IU Bloomington campus to give a talk on Southern Song paintings of Hangzhou on March 21st.  Dr. Lee is a specialist in Southern Song painting and wrote among many publications a book on empresses’ patronage of art during the Song.
