Please visit the newly renovated space on the ground floor of the Wells Library. The Moving Image Collections and Archives (MICA) is the home of the Black Film Center/ Archive, the IU Libraries’ Moving Image Archive, and the Libraries’ Media Services. The renovation began in January 2016 and was mostly completed in summer 2016. The new space offers access to the Media Services collections including the Video Browsing Collection and the Research and Teaching Collection, 4 learning practice labs, study space, and media viewing technology (past and present). In January 2017 the Libraries’ state-of-the-art 40 person Screening Room will be finished, thus completing the renovation.
