As University Records Manager, Amanda Rindler works with units to help determine how long records should be maintained and to transfer records to the University Archives when appropriate. She also helps with creating and updating the university’s records retention schedules and assists with the development of unit-specific records management plans.
She holds a Master of Library Science degree with a specialization in Archives & Records Management from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Ball State University. Amanda is a Certified Archivist (CA) from the Academy of Certified Archivists and Certified Records Manager (CRM) from the Institute of Certified Records Managers.
Amanda enjoys providing assistance to those doing records management in order to ensure the preservation of historical records, but also to make their jobs easier through more effective procedures.
