Alma Eikerman papers, 1915-1995 (bulk 1947-1990)
Alma Eikerman (1908-1995) was a metalsmith and professor Indiana University (1947-1978), where she developed the Department of Fine Arts metals program. This collection spans most of her lifetime, providing documentation of her artwork, teaching career, travels, family, friends, and students.
Myra Montgomery Arthur collection of Indiana University dance cards, 1922-1929 (bulk 1925-1926)
Myra attended plenty of campus dances and socials while she was a student at IU, and she collected a number of dance cards along the way! Besides the names of Myra’s dance partners, these tiny dance cards usually include event names, hosts, chaperones, and the bands that played for each occasion. Hoagy Carmichael and his Collegians made a few appearances!
