The United States General Services Administration has launched an interactive online gallery of public artwork. Users are able to search over 26,000 sculptures, paintings, and more by artist, location, or even artwork classification. The Fine Arts Collection is useful not only for scholars, but also for both interested citizens and tourists of locations across the country.
This particular limestone sculpture, entitled Literature and created by J(ohn) Massey Rhind in 1906, can be found at the Birch Bayh Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse in nearby Indianapolis.
