Mission Statement: Wylie House Museum actively supports the academic mission of Indiana University and engages visitors in immersive and inclusive histories associated with the home.
Built in 1835 by Andrew Wylie, first president of Indiana University, the Wylie House is now a historic house museum administered by the IU Libraries. The museum is open to the public and serves as a campus resource for classes and research. Wylie House is located just southwest of campus, near the original campus location. Collections include family artifacts, photographs, and archival materials. Digital exhibits can be found on the museum's online exhibit platform.
