What's Happening?

Due to organizational changes and pending renovations in Spring 2015, the following changes are in effect for MRS:


  • As of November 21, 2014, MRS will no longer circulate digital equipment.  School of Education students may consult Education Technology Services in SoE.  All other students may check with their department for assistance.
  • Several sub-collections within the Teaching and Research and Browsing collections (spoken word audiocassettes, CDs, CD-ROMs, and all vhs tapes) will be processed and moved to its permanent location at the ALF.  All patrons will be responsible to request these items through the online catalog for delivery.




  • Building Access Use ground level, north entrance of the Wells Library. This entrance has electronic doors. Entrance electronic doors are also available at M&RS, and at ground level bathrooms. Building Access
  • Media Showing RoomInstructors can make arrangements to show a film to large groups. Instructors can reserve either E174, 043, or 044B in the Wells Library. To schedule Room 044B, contact the Black Film Center/Archive at 812-855-6041. Media Showing Room
  • Reserve ServicesLibrary-owned and personal copy media items can be placed on reserve. One media item may be checked out and viewed in-house. Loan length for print reserves varies. Reserve Services
  • TechnologyA VHS-to-DVD converter machine is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Technology
  • Quiet Study SpaceAn open area is reserved for quiet study only. Quiet Study Space
  • ATMATM is located outside the cafe in the basement of the library. ATM
  • PrintingBlack & white page prints with print release station. Color printing is available on first floor of the Wells Library. Printing
