During the Fall 2020 Semester, the Wells Library is happy to support students, faculty, and researchers by offering modified access to library locations. Before or on arrival, library users will need to reserve a study seat or make a service appointment. When using the Library, visitors will need to follow IU Campus guidelines for social distancing and mask wearing. These guidelines apply to a user's entire reservation and use of library spaces.
Masks and social distancing are essential for the Library to stay open. Without the help of our students and researchers, the Library cannot maintain a safe and healthy space for research and exploration. Wells Library thanks all of our users who have worn masks while in our space.
As of October 25th, the Wells Library will now remind users three times that they will need to consistently wear masks for the duration of their visit. If a user is unable to properly wear their mask after three reminders, they will be asked to leave the library. Wells Library is very happy to be able to support students' studies and research this semester and is grateful for the support that our students show when they correctly wear masks and social distance while in our spaces.
