From the IU Office of Parking Operations:
Per the State Department's requirement, the northernmost area of the SGIS/Wells Library parking lot will be inaccessible on Thursday, October 15.
Access to the lot will be restricted from the northeast entrance, as well as at the east and west drives to the south of the contained area. The closure will include the parking spaces in the two northern bays and will impact all ADA spaces, meters and service spaces, as well as a few reserved spaces. Parking will temporarily rezone the closest open spaces as ADA for the day in the highlighted portion of the attached diagram. Additionally, the southernmost row of spaces in the lot will be blocked off for use for trustees and dignitaries attending the event.
We are aware of the complications that this closure is going to create, however, this is a required security precaution dictated by Secretary Kerry’s security detail.
See the IU Newsroom for more information about Secretary Kerry's visit.
