The Tibetan Studies Collection is located at the back of 5th floor, East Tower of the Wells Library. It houses books, pechas, maps, and journals written in Tibetan, English, Sanscript, Chinese, etc. Area covered are language, history, literature, the arts, Tibetan Buddhism, traditional medicine, and culture of Tibet.

In addition, there are other locations in the Wells Library with materials related to Tibet:

  • A collection of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean language resources on Tibet is shelved on the East Asian Collection, 8th floor of the East Tower.
  • Tibet-related media materials are shelved in Media Services in the Reference Reading Room, first floor of the East Tower.
