Scholarly work relies not only on creative and hard work in a specific discipline, but also on the ability to disseminate that work through discussions with other scholars. In addition, future employment in your scholarly field can be aided by a strong network of other scholars. This workshop will offer graduate students tips on how to effectively reach out to individuals about scholarly questions and how to build their scholarly network both at IU and in their field. Start setting yourself up for success, by building a strong scholarly network! This workshop is the fourth event in the "Thriving in Grad School Series" and run by Heather Hundley, Associate Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, IU School of Medicine-Bloomington.
All graduate students, at any stage or from any discipline, are encouraged to attend.
