As an Accounting Representative in the Acquisitions department at IU Libraries, Susan Kinzer is responsible for payments for the books, journals, and electronic resources that the Libraries purchase.

Susan grew up in the Pacific Northwest and moved to the Midwest in her mid-twenties. She holds a bachelor's degree in American Ethnic Studies and Political Science from the University of Washington in Seattle, and a law degree (J.D.) from Maurer School of Law, Indiana University, Bloomington. After practicing law for a few years in Wisconsin and Indiana, she decided to seek a more balanced, less stressful life working in bookkeeping/accounting. She was a part-time bookkeeper for a local business for a number of years before coming to work full-time for IU Libraries in the Acquisitions Accounting department.
