We're all online - all the time. Most of us think about how we can protect our personal information, own our online presence, avoid malware, and connect safely, but knowing what to do (or not to do) can sometimes feel tricky. 

National Cyber Security Awareness Month is celebrated annually in October by the US Department of Homeland Security and others to share information that will empower you to feel in control of your personal cyber security. How are we celebrating at IU Libraries?

  • We'll be tweeting tips all month - follow us @iulibraries and monitor the event hashtag, #cyberaware
  • Join us in the Herman B Wells Library for a speaker series featuring local and state experts:
    • Fri October 6: IU's Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research
    • Thurs Oct 12: Keith LeHigh of IU's University Information Security Office
    • Wed Oct 25: Chetrice Mosley, Cybersecurity Program Director at the Indiana Department of Homeland Security and Indiana Office of Technology
