The Wylie House Seed Library pilot program opened in 2016 and received an engaging welcome in the campus and local communities. The museum offers heirloom and native seed varieties from our gardens and community partners to be "checked out," grown, and then "returned." Currently, the museum has 100+ varieties available.

To check out seeds, use the web form to request up to four seed varieties. Available seeds can be browsed through the menu below. You will be contacted when your seeds are available for pick-up.

Information regarding Seed Saving strategies and can be found on our Seed Saving Tips page.

Note: Seeds are only available through this webform or by appointment during regular museum hours. To schedule an appointment, please email libwylie@iu.edu or call 812-855-1858.
