Ruth A. Light, the Electronic Resources Access Manager, works with the Electronic Resources Acquisitions Unit to manage ongoing access to new and existing electronic research resources licensed by the Indiana University Libraries.

Her areas of interest include cross-departmental collaboration to improve access to electronic resources and best practices for managing electronic resources in electronic resource management systems (ERMS).

Ruth is active professionally with the Indiana University Librarians Association and the Ohio Valley Group of Technical Services Librarians. In 2014, she served as chair of the Indiana Library Federation Technical Services Division Executive Committee. She presents occasionally on topics related to her areas of interest at local and regional conferences and meetings.

Previous to joining the Indiana University Libraries, Ruth was Technical Services Coordinator at Harrison College. She earned her Master of Library Science degree from IUPUI and her Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society from Purdue University.
