Located in the Scholars' Commons, the IQ-Wall is a large-format, ultra-resolution tiled touchscreen display for visualization and collaboration.
The IQ-Wall has been developed by the UITS Advanced Visualization Lab to promote innovative research and education using information-rich, ultra-resolution displays. The IQ-Wall installation in the Wells Library Scholars' Commons is a collaborative effort of the IU Libraries, UITS, and the Pervasive Technology Institute. The IQ-Wall is part of Indiana University's robust computing and networking environment used by members of the campus community to create, discover, and share information electronically. Reservation Policy (established 10/17/2019):
The primary purpose of this room is to provide the opportunity for students and faculty to interact with the visualization wall for teaching and learning purposes. Because of this, the room will only be reserved for groups that need to use the wall for purposes for which a typical computer screen would not suffice. Reservations will be taken based upon the following priorities:
- Classes needing to use the visualization wall.
- Groups or individuals who need the visualization wall specifically.
- Libraries or UITS groups have priority reservation.
All other groups who need a space to meet may use the room on a first-come, first-served basis.
