Roger Temam elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences

Professor Roger Temam, a professor in Mathematics Department, has recently been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He joins two other IU faculty members who have been elected to the academy -- Robert Nosofsky and Feisal Istrabadi.

Professor Temam has mentored an extraordinary number of Mathematics scholars. According to the Mathematics Genealogy Project, he has mentored 115 students and has 439 descendants.
