Richard Higgins has been with Library Technologies since 2018. Before joining LT, he spent three years as a technical specialist and repository and digital publishing manager with the Libraries' Scholarly Communication Department. 

Richard's experience at Indiana University Bloomington dates back to 2002 and includes serving as Assistant Sponsoring Editor for the IU Press, Visiting Lecturer for the Department of English, and Digital Humanities Support Specialist within the Research Technologies division of University Information Technology Services. He also served in editorial roles for the journal Victorian Studies. Richard received his Ph.D. in English from Indiana University Bloomington. He also holds an M.S. in  Information Science from the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering at IUB and a B.A. from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
