RAPCC journal added to EBSCO databases

Research, Advocacy, and Practice for Complex and Chronic Conditions (RAPCC) has recently been added to two databases on the EBSCO platform: Academic Search Ultimate (ASU) and the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL Ultimate). RAPCC is an open access journal published by the IU Libraries that focuses on research with the potential to impact the lives of individuals with complex conditions.

CINAHL Ultimate is a resource for nursing and allied health research, providing full text for many of the most used journals in these disciplines. Academic Search Ultimate includes over 5000 open access journals, providing users with subject indexing and accurate full text linking. In ASU, full text coverage for RAPCC begins with the 2020 issue. CINAHL now includes RAPCC metadata (abstracts, etc.), but full text coverage will begin with the upcoming 2022 issue.

Having individual articles discoverable through these databases will provide RAPCC and its authors with significant exposure. According to EBSCO, the overall platform receives 500M searches per day from various libraries, hospitals, and institutions worldwide.
