R for Twitter

This session will focus on using the twittR package for R to scrape tweets. Then we will create a wordcloud of most commonly used terms and a sentiment graph mining opinions of the tweets. Prerequisites: A Karst account (setup instructions). If you want to do your own twitter searches, set up OAuth by following this tutorial: Setting Up the Twitter R Package for Text Analytics.
