Primary Search is a full text database providing popular children’s magazines, easy-to-read encyclopedic entries and a vast image collection.
Primary Search, designed specifically for elementary school libraries and public library children's rooms, contains full text for more than 100 popular, children's magazines, easy-to-read encyclopedic entries, and an image collection containing relevant photos, maps and flags.
All full text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles) to provide educators with an estimate of the result's read difficulty and approximate grade-level reading ability required for comprehension.
Examples of publications covered in Primary Search include: Ladybug, Spider, Highlights, and Junior Scholastic.
