The E. Lingle Craig Preservation Lab offers a number of in-house services for not only Library Staff but also students and members of the greater Indiana University community.
For Students, University staff and members of the general public, the following information may be of use:
Jobs/Careers: From time to time we have openings in the Preservation Lab for temporary (student) employees. Please contact us if you have an interest and would like to send us your resume, otherwise check with Library Human Resources to see if there are any current openings. Often, students come to us interested in Library Preservation and Conservation as a potential career. We are happy to share our knowledge of the field. Binding Services: We do not offer thesis binding services to students or members of the public. For student thesis binding, please consult the University Graduate School>Theses & Dissertations for formatting requirements, or Thesis On Demand for binding services.
Private Conservation: We are limited to providing our services to the IU Bloomington Libraries collections chiefly. From time to time, work may be arranged for other IU Bloomington schools and departments. We do not take on work from other Indiana University campuses nor members of the public. Preservation Supplies may be ordered for IU Bloomington Libraries staff. Members of the public should consult our list of suppliers.
