IUB Libraries Publishing publishes Professor Heather Akou's book, Afterthought: A Family Story
IU Libraries-Published Book Featured on New Books Network
As mentioned in January, our Indiana University Bloomington Libraries Publishing—the Libraries’ open-access publishing service for IU-authored books, edited collections, and related genres—published Afterthought: A Family Story a genre-bending blend of memoir and historical fiction by Heather Akou, Associate Professor of Fashion Design and Program Director of Fashion Design at IU Bloomington. IU Libraries is now delighted to announce that Afterthought has been covered by the New Books Network (NBN), a consortium of author-interview podcast channels dedicated to public education. The host of the NBN's Historical Fiction Channel, Dr. Miranda Melcher, has done a podcast about Afterthought, in which she interviews Heather about her book and its publishing with IU Libraries. Please listen to Heather's interview and check out her book when you have a chance!
