    This page supports the teaching and learning needs of the School of Nursing in Bloomington. We provide access to a wide range of clinical and biomedical tools and resources and offer research consultations. Printed nursing books are primarily found in the Life Sciences Library in Jordan Hall, A304.  Most new books and videos and all journals are online.  Books and other media may be searched for in IUCAT.  Below are links to find our journals.

What is the Cochrane Collaboration? Cochrane is an international not-for-profit and independent organization, dedicated to making up-to-date, accurate information about the effects of healthcare readily available worldwide. It produces and disseminates systematic reviews of healthcare interventions and promotes the search for evidence in the form of clinical trials and other studies of interventions. Cochrane was founded in 1993 and named after the British epidemiologist, Archie Cochrane.

What is the Joanna Briggs Institute? The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) is the international not-for-profit, research and development Centre within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Adelaide, South Australia.

The Institute collaborates internationally with over 70 entities across the world. The Institute and its Collaborating Entities promote and support the synthesis, transfer and utilization of evidence through identifying feasible, appropriate, meaningful and effective healthcare practices to assist in the improvement of healthcare outcomes globally.
