We are excited to announce the launch of IU's Rivet design system on the Libraries website, effective Monday, August 12. The new system offers a better experience for our site visitors, and more flexible design options for our content creators. The highlights of the new design include:
- A reconfigured site navigation focused on the user's research journey.
- Integration of Rivet design elements for increased accessibility and a better mobile experience.
- Redesigned landing pages for libraries, archives, and other locations to highlight services and amenities specific to those spaces.
The Rivet launch is Phase One of our plans for refreshing the Libraries website. In coming months, users will notice other changes to the site, including an expansion of Collections and Exhibitions represented on the site, in line with priorities outlined in the IU Libraries' Strategic Plan 2030.
