About Us

The Indiana University Libraries Moving Image Archive Screening Room (IULMIA SR) is a specialized film and video projection facility offering exceptional presentation capabilities with seating for up to 48 people (34 people when tables are in use). This space is designed to accommodate specific types of screenings and media-centered events, each of which is supported by a dedicated, skilled projectionist/technician to ensure a seamless viewing experience.

Priority is given to screenings on analog, legacy/archival or high-end digital technologies that are not available in standard classrooms. The IULMIA SR is located next to Media Services on the ground floor of the Wells Library, 048. The space is generally available during regular business hours in the academic year. Requests for use outside these times may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The IULMIA SR is not available for conferences, symposiums, or extended programming. For alternative event spaces, see IU Event Spaces.
