Mintian Guo

Mintian Guo works as the Chinese Monographs Cataloger for Indiana University Libraries in Bloomington. His undergraduate major was Teaching Chinese as a Foreign/Second Language. He taught English and related elective courses in a high school and provided overseas learning consultation and services. He started his Hoosier career in 2012 with the Master's program in Instructional Systems Technology at the School of Education. After graduation, he worked at the Center for Language Technology in the College of Arts and Sciences, first as a lab assistant/instructional designer and then as a web service specialist from 2016 to the first half of 2024. 

Mintian notes that IU Libraries has an abundant Chinese collection and it is very meaningful to make it more accessible to ordinary readers and scholars specifically interested in Area Studies.
