Midwest Business Libraries Case Competition

The Business/SPEA Information Commons is pleased to announce the 2017 Midwest Business Libraries Case Competition. This event is an excellent opportunity to show off your research skills and gain or enhance case competition experience.

What is the Midwest Business Libraries Case Competition?

In order to bring more attention to business information literacy, Purdue University, University of Notre Dame, IUPUI, IPFW, Indiana University, and Butler University are hosting a case compeition for undergraduates. This competition challenges students to solve a problem for a company using their business research skills. 

Who can participate?
Competition is open to all Indiana University Bloomington undergraduate students regardless of major. Teams should be comprised of 4-5 students; two of the students need to be freshman or sophomore status. 

What can you win?
First Place: $500
Second Place: $300
Third Place: $100

When and where is the competition?
Team Sign-up: Friday October 13 at 11:59 p.m. 
Case Presentation: The case will be e-mailed to all teams/team members on Saturday, October 14 at 8:00 a.m.
IU First Round Preliminaries: Tuesday, October 24*
Final Presentations: Saturday, November 4 at Butler University, time to be determined

* NOTE: Only if three or more teams from IU participate in the competition.
