IU’s agreement with the online video tutorial service lynda.com will end on June 30. The Libraries are happy to offer Skillport 8i (formerly Books 24x7), a full-text database containing electronic versions of 2000+ IT professional and technical books from 80+ publishers, as well as short video tutorials, to help with your technology learning needs. Like most of our e-resources, Skillport 8i can be accessed from on- or off-campus with your IU credentials.

The Libraries offer a number of additional computing-related resources. See our Informatics & Computing subject guide for a complete list.

Residents of Monroe County, including IU students, can access lynda.com through the Monroe County Public Library. If you do not already have a library card, you can complete an application online to begin the process; you will then need to visit the library in person to obtain your card. There is no charge for this service if you live in Monroe County.

UITS offers many additional IT learning options for students, faculty, and staff, for free or at a discount.
