You Are Invited

IU Libraries invites you to tour our renovated ground floor, home to the Moving Image Archive, featuring a new campus destination for film: our state-of-the-art Screening Room. Plus, you will learn how to reserve the Screening Room for your classroom lecture or student film project presentations.

Drop in with a friend - no RSVP is needed.

The Moving Image Archive at the Herman B Wells Library offers Indiana University a distinct film destination and a gateway to the 100,000 films and videos held by IU Libraries.

The Screening Room shows films, videos and digital assets at their highest possible quality (based on media format), but its smaller size and flexible seating encourages discussions and dialog.

The film workroom is a lab space for students to hone preservation skills alongside some of the country's most knowledgeable media archivists, and viewing rooms increase the access and comfort of both on-campus and visiting scholars to view  titles from the extensive IU Libraries film and video  collections.

IU Libraries' Moving Image Archive is a proud member of the International Federation of Film Archives.
