Jesse Balzer

As the Journals Marketing and Exhibits Manager at IU Press, Jesse Balzer oversees the marketing of all academic journals. Additionally, he coordinates IUP's exhibits at academic and trade book conferences.

Jesse is originally from Bismarck, North Dakota. He graduated with a B.A. in film history and criticism from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2011, and earned an M.A. in film & media studies from Concordia University in Montreal in 2014. He has published scholarly work in Flow: A Critical Forum on Media and Culture, the Historical Journal of Film, Radio and Television, and others. He currently writes a monthly column on film for Bloomington's own Ryder Magazine and Film Series.
