Jason Burton

As Health Sciences Librarian, Jason Burton works with students and faculty in the School of Nursing, School of Optometry, School of Public Health, Departments of Speech & Hearing Sciences and Psychological and Brain Sciences, and programs in Medical Sciences, Cognitive Science, and Neuroscience as the collection manager and library liaison.

His research interests include biomedical and clinical information searching and discovery, with particular interest in new and advanced tools and methodologies.

Previous to joining the Indiana University Libraries in 2015, Jason held positions as Science and Health Sciences Librarian at Florida International University, and as Technical Information Specialist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He earned his Master of Arts degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida, and also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
