The IU Libraries are partnering with the Senate House Library in London to help sponsor the first ever Kuali Days UK Event. Taking place in October 2013, this event will bring to central London many of our Kuali OLE partners for a two day long symposium that will focus on Kuali Foundation software applications. Conference Co-Chair Andrew Preater from Senate House Libraries says, "This event will bring together those in UK higher education who are focused on open source software in libraries and will provide the community important information about all of the current Kuali Foundation software applications for higher education."
The IU Libraries are hosting this event in conjunction with the Senate House Library and the University of London, which gives us the opportunity to share our own work in open source software around Kuali OLE as well as our work with the Blacklight discovery layer that has been in place since June 2013. For more on the Kuali Days UK event, please see the KDUK 2013 Program. Additional sponsors for this event include the Kuali Foundation, Kuali OLE, Ebsco Information Services, HTC Global Services, Inc., K-Int, andJISC.
