A few users are currently experiencing problems with the “Request through ILL” (WorldCat) and “Request via ILL” (Worldcat.org) links in the WorldCat interfaces. Rather than taking you to a completed ILL form, it is stalling during the IU Login authentication process. We are investigating the problem.
If you encounter this problem, please contact us. Knowing what your search terms were and which search results you tried to request may help us investigate the issue.
In the meantime, the following workaround is available (only via the Worldcat.org version of the site):
- Use Worldcat.org for searching.
- Under the “Access from your libraries” heading, click the "View access options" button, and select the "Access" link next to “IU-Link – Check for Availability”. (This may open a new browser tab or window.)
- Click “Request the item via IU-Bloomington Document Delivery Service (ILL)”.
- You will be directed through IU Login and to the completed ILL form. Double check the form (in particular the "Not Wanted After Date" and "Will you accept an alternate edition of this item?" questions) and click "Submit Request" at the bottom of the form.
If you have any questions, please ask us!
