An Introduction to Kanopy: Online Streaming Film Database

This hour-long workshop, presented by Monique Threatt and Shannon Spurlock, will introduce you to the content available through the streaming film/video resource Kanopy (https://libraries.indiana.edu/resources/kanopystreaming).The IUB Libraries' subscription to Kanopy includes over 26,000 award-winning documentaries, feature and training films on every topic imaginable, such as Media Studies, Foreign Language, LBGTQ Studies, Psychology, Politics, Environmental, Literature, etc. The collection offers films from Criterion CollectionPBSMedia Education Foundation,First Run FeaturesNew Day FilmsCalifornia Newsreel and many independent filmmakers. Features include clip and playlist creation, embed tools, watch lists, and more.

Amenities
