Go to http://iucat.iu.edu/.  It is also accessible from the Libraries home page (https://libraries.indiana.edu/); click on the IUCAT button.

2. What type of material will not circulate?

Reference, Reserves, journal/serial, print newspapers, indexes, dictionaries and newspapers.  Other types/locations may apply.

3. How can I place requests?

Institutions may send requests electronically through OCLC or the ILLiad Web Client.

Institutions that do not use OCLC may work with the IU Libraries directly to enable lending and borrowing. First time users should email libils@indiana.edu to set up an account.

Thereafter, those institutions may log in via our lender portal at https://www.dds.indiana.edu/lending/lendinglogon.html

4. What is your turnaround time?

We usually ship within 48 hours (2 business days).

5. What are your charges for filling a request?

Out-of-State loan and photocopy requests:  $20.00 invoice or $17.00 IFM

International: $35.00 invoice or $32.00 IFM

6. Do you send items via Odyssey and Article Exchange?

Yes, we send articles via Odyssey and Article Exchange as listed on the request.

7. Do you have RUSH service?

Yes, it is available.  We will fill within 24 hours (M-F) of receiving the request. Add $10.00 to cost.

8. Do you charge for postage?

U.S. Loans:  We send loaned items via U.S. mail at Media Rate and incorporate the cost of this postage into the request fee.  If the request states the item should be sent U.S. First Class or courier, a $5.00 fee is added and (for each additional volume).  If you request that your Federal Express (Fed Ex) or United Parcel Service (UPS) be billed, the Borrowing library's Fed Ex/UPS billing number must be listed. 

U.S. Photocopies:  Any photocopy that cannot be sent digitally is sent First Class Mail and the cost of postage is included in the request fee.

International:  All international mail is sent Air Mail and the cost of the first volume is included in the request fee.  An additional Air Mail postage fee of $15.00 is added for each additional volume.

9. How do you bill?

We prefer OCLC Interlibrary Loan Fee Management (IFM).  We also invoice monthly.  If IFM is requested but fails to transfer, payment must be made through an invoice.

10. How do I pay a bill?

We prefer the use of OCLC's Interlibrary Loan Fee Management (IFM).  We accept checks, money orders, and credit cards for invoices from U.S. libraries. Remittance should be sent to:
