Services for Instructors
- Placing course reservesPlace library materials on reserve for use in a course. Instructors can also request a screening of Libraries-owned media in Wells Library.
- Information Literacy ToolkitThe Information Literacy Toolkit is a Canvas course for instructors with information literacy principles that can be integrated into coursework, including assignments and rubrics. Use and adapt what you need from this course for your own instructional needs.
- Indiana University Libraries User GuidebookUse this Pressbooks as an educational resource for learning about and teaching concepts such as information literacy, ethical citation practices, and the types of resources available through IU Libraries.
- Linking library resources in CanvasLearn about the several methods available to instructors for linking to database articles, e-books, and other library materials in ways that abide by copyright laws and licensing agreements.
- Course library research guidesCourse Guides provide instructional materials about the research process and connect students with relevant library resources and services. A librarian will work with you to create a guide that corresponds to your class's learning objectives and assignments. - Instructional Services offered by University ArchivesThe University Archives encourages and supports the use of its collection in the classroom and aids academic departments as they address program goals related to the use of primary sources (correspondence, photographs, etc.).
