The Past Masters Immanuel Kant: Philosophische Briefe und Vorlesungsnachschriften database contains letters of philosophical content, both to and from significant thinkers of the 18th century such as Garve, Reinhold, Fichte, Schiller, Mendelsohn, Lambert, Hamann, Herder and Lavater. The texts are those of the Akademie-Ausgabe with AA pagination headers. The Vorlesungsnachschriften of the Einleitung in die philosophische Religionslehre follow the edition of Karl Heinrich Ludwig Pölitz 1817 (2nd edition 1830). The notes of these lectures were made by a colleague of Kant's in Königsberg. Also contained in this database are the lecture notes of Kant's lectures Einleitung in die Metaphysik, which he began in 1788. The Past Masters Immanuel Kant: Philosophische Briefe und Vorlesungsnachschriften database is based on the Infosoftware Electronic Edition of the same title published 1999 by Karsten Worm. (OCLC)
