In the Student Technology Clusters (STC) and at workstations inside the IUB Libraries, no special instructions are needed to log in.

For use in on-campus and off-campus offices:

It is a one-time only installation, and here are the steps to follow:

  1. Navigate to the "Utilities" category on IUWare. (Utilities for Windows | Utilities for Mac)
  2. Locate the newest version of Citrix Receiver on the list and follow the IUWare download instructions.


After installing the Citrix Receiver, you can go to Si Ku Quan Shu 文淵閣四庫全書 under Chinese Studies - Electronic Databases at http://libraries.indiana.edu/chinese-studies and click on it. The Citrix server will lead you to the database. You will see a purple "Login" sign in the toolbar. Open it, and select "IP Login" to access the database.

From off-campus, you must always connect via VPN. See http://kb.iu.edu/data/ajrq.html for more information about VPN at IU. If you have installed the Citrix client and are connected via VPN, you can access Si Ku Quan Shu by searching for it on the Libraries' website.
