Geography, Map, and GIS Consultation & Research Assistance
Wednesdays, 2pm-4pm
IU Libraries Scholars' Commons, 157L

Geography deals with the description, distribution, and interaction of the diverse physical, biological, and cultural features of the earth. It includes the study of Climate, Land and Environmental Change, Geographic Information Science (GIS), Food and Agriculture, Globalization, Development and Justice, and Sustainable Systems and includes topics such as air pollution meteorology, micro- and boundary layer meteorology, forest and urban meteorology, climate change and statistical climatology as well as sustainable development, urban studies, transportation, and remote sensing.

The Geography librarian has complied a list of recommended resources, listed to the left. However, researchers may also want to explore subject guides for a specific region. (South Asian Studies or Slavic & East European Studies, for example)
