European Studies pertains to the history and the social and policy sciences that investigate contemporary political, institutional, sociological, and cultural developments in Europe and the European Union. The collection supports the interdisciplinary study of postwar Europe and the European Union, with an emphasis on the social and policy sciences, contemporary history, and journalism and media studies, as well as other area studies concerns.
Please see the lists of West European Studies and European Union resources we have compiled in the "Related Pages" section below (to the lower left). For East European resources, visit the library's Slavic and East European Studies homepage.
