Emily Wilderman

As the Director of Development for Arts and Culture, Emily Wilderman leads fundraising efforts for the IU Libraries, IU Cinema, IU Museum of Archeology and Anthropology, and IU Collections. She works on soliciting major gifts for each campus unit. Emily previously worked on the Scholarships and Student Experience team at IU Foundation where she served as Associate Director of Development.  

From a proud Indiana University family, Emily is a 2001 IU graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. She also has a Master of Science in Public Service Administration from the University of Evansville. Emily has been working in the non-profit sector for over a decade with experiences in fundraising and event management. She is a proud lifelong Hoosier and is thrilled to be able to give back to the university in a way that is transformational for our campus community and students.

Emily has held a lifelong interest in art history, archaeology, anthropology, and archives.  She is thrilled to be leading a unit that will allow her to be immersed in culture on a daily basis.
