For spring 2021, IU Libraries locations require a seat reservation for studying.
To work at the Herman B Wells Library, Education Library, Business/SPEA Library or the Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center Library, make a reservation here: libraries.indiana.edu/spaces. At the Wells Library, one limited, non-reservation space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis for graduate students, only.
Other study and computer spaces on campus are available on a drop-in basis that do not require a reservation. Scroll down for a complete list. Capacity is limited and space is available first-come, first-serve. The list below was updated Feb. 16, 2021.

Using these spaces
IU Libraries does not manage these spaces.
The spaces below are not part of IU Libraries and are presented here as an active part of our mission to support learning and research at Indiana University. Send updates for this page to libcomm@indiana.edu, but all questions related to specific spaces should be directed to those building operators.
What to expect.
Indiana University has carefully considered physical distance and all other physical space health and safety guidelines when setting up these spaces. Furniture in these rooms should not be moved and many seats have been removed to create smaller room capacity. Be prepared to wipe down your space before and after use. All locations on campus require masks if indoors or if physical distance is not possible outdoors. Removing masks to eat in a shared indoor space is not permitted.
Thank you for doing everything you can to keep your campus a healthy and safe space.
