We regularly consult with digital specialists across all academic disciplines as well as people interested in using these technologies and techniques for the first time. If you are an IU faculty member, employee, or student we invite you to come and talk with us about your digital project and how we can help you with it.

Digitization and Conversion: The IU Libraries' Digital Collections Services department supports the Scholars' Commons Digitization Lab, a high-end multimedia, multidisciplinary lab that is dedicated to the digital conversion of materials, and the management and migration of born-digital objects in support of teaching and research needs and interests of Indiana University Bloomington's faculty and graduate students.  We are happy to consult on all aspects pertaining to your digitization project, including appropriate procedures for handling, preservation recommendations for the physical items, and advice/training on appropriate hardware, software, and procedures for digital conversion and analysis.
