About Us

The Communications Department directs a strategic communications and marketing program for the people, places and collections of IU Libraries.

Services and access offered through this department include:

  • Assistance to the media through access to subject-matter experts, photography assets to support journalists, and coordination of tours for journalists, campus visits and interviews.  Always available to journalists, please call the Communications Director directly.
  • Assistance to students and media who wish to use any library location to film any commercial, class assignment or execute a video project for social media.
  • Creative execution of print and digital materials supporting initiatives at IU Libraries.
  • Production of materials documenting the many ways IU Libraries is Turning Up the Volume, including the 2015 Annual Report  and 2016-2020 Strategic Plan.
