IU Day Crowdfunding Brings Art Home to Wylie House
History comes to life every day at IU Libraries Wylie House Museum. A recently established Collections Fund recognizes the energy contemporary artists infuse into our centuries-long story. Laura R. Post, former faculty lecturer at the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design is one such artist. This IU Day, help us bring her contemporary paper pulp portraits of Wylie House occupants into our safekeeping, and into the Wylie House visitor experience.

Renovation suspends services at Lilly Library
The $12.4 million project to renovate the iconic Lilly Library is coming to a close. Librarians and outside contractors are planning the process that will take collections now housed in several secure campus locations back home to the Lilly Library. The months-long process of moving collections will also disrupt our services—even more than the global pandemic already has.
Regretfully, Lilly Library reference and digitization services must be suspended from March 1 through at least August 15, 2021 to accommodate the moving back process.

Glenn Close discusses her decision to donate costumes to IU
"No one literally that I know of or that I could find had the kind of facilities that Indiana University has and already had in their extraordinary, state-of-the-art, archival buildings." - Glenn Close
Close donated her meticulously preserved costume collection to the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design's Sage Collection in 2017. During one of her visits to the Bloomington campus, Close toured the Ruth Lilly Auxiliary Library Facility, operated by IU Libraries.
