Lilly Library Renovation
Thanks to a nearly $11 million grant from the Lilly Endowment, IU Libraries' Lilly Library will be renovated. Consistently regarded as one of the nation's top libraries for books and manuscripts of the greatest importance, the Lilly Library was established in 1960 to house the extensive private library of the late Josiah K. Lilly Jr., one of the Lilly Endowment's founders.

Revisit the 1950s with 300 newly digitized audio recordings
From 1947 into the early 1960s, Indiana University's Department of Radio and Television broadcast an educational radio program for Indiana and nearby states called the Indiana School of the Sky. We're excited to share that thanks to the IU Media Digitization and Preservation Initiative over 300 of these recordings are now accessible online via Media Collections Online, where Indiana School of the Sky is the current Featured Audio Collection.
