We invite you to engage with 21 items from our collections selected from a variety of cultural, intellectual, and literary contributions of underrepresented groups. Earn rewards. The challenge will run through May and our only stipulation is that you select at least one item from each of our nine categories.

Style Guide for Gender-Inclusive Writing
In this news blog, library assistant Wendy Spaček summarizes a set of resources for the singular pronoun “they” specific to gender-inclusive academic writing. As part of the IU Libraries Arts and Humanities department, Spaček works with subject specialist Nicholae Cline, assistant librarian focused on Film Studies, Gender Studies, Media Studies and Philosophy. She points out, "All three major academic style guides agree ... that a person’s correct personal pronouns (they, he, she, etc.) should be respected and used at all times..."
